How to reduce noise of vibrating screen

Vibrating screen is a common source of noise. During operation, abnormal noises often appear. Moreover, it has high sound level, multiple sound sources, and complexity. How to solve the abnormal noise problem of the vibrating screen and effectively reduce the noise of the vibrating screen?
Generally speaking, in the production process, the noise generated by the vibrating screen is inevitable, but too much noise will have an adverse effect on the body of the staff. The following measures can be taken to reduce noise:
1. Regularly check the looseness of equipment parts
First of all, pay attention to whether the noise is caused by loose equipment. Therefore, in order to reduce the noise, the parts of the vibrating screen, especially the screen plates that need to be replaced frequently, must be fastened first to avoid additional vibration caused by loose parts.
2. Use polyurethane sieve instead of metal sieve
Due to the small modulus of elasticity of polyurethane material and large internal resistance, the use of polyurethane sieve plates instead of metal sieve plates can effectively reduce noise.
3. Screen box side panel with restrained damping layer
The side plate and rear end plate of the screen box are welded or riveted by thin plates. These large-area thin plates will produce strong noise under the action of exciting force. The radiated noise of the panel surface is proportional to the square of the vibration speed of the panel surface. Therefore, beam damping materials can be added to the surface of the plate to achieve the purpose of noise reduction.
4. Bearing inner and outer damping
Damping treatment is adopted between the inner and outer shells of the bearing. The rolling elements of the bearing can be made into hollow rolling elements, or damping materials can be added to the hollow rolling elements to effectively reduce the vibration and noise of the bearing.
5. Use flexible spoke gears
In the vibration process, the meshing noise of gears is also a noteworthy noise source. The synchronous gear used on the vibrating screen generally works in a strong vibration environment. Due to the greater influence of internal and external meshing, the impact noise is relatively large.
Due to the large internal resistance and large elastic deformation of rubber, not only can the impact of meshing be reduced, but also more vibration energy can be absorbed. Therefore, flexible spoke gears can be used to achieve the purpose of noise reduction.
6. Use rubber springs instead
During the vibration, there is relative sliding between the end of the spring and the support. Due to dry friction, the frequency of frictional noise is high and the noise is large, so that the local noise at the location of the vibrating screen spring is significantly increased. After using rubber springs, part of the noise is significantly reduced.
7. Chute with rubber lining
The feed trough and discharge trough of the vibrating screen linear screen are welded to the steel plate. The impact and friction of the materials in the chute will also affect the noise of the vibrating screen. Therefore, laying rubber liners on the inner walls of the feed chute and the discharge chute can also reduce the noise of the chut
