Driving device The driving device of a screw conveyorconsists of three parts: a motor, a reducer, and a coupling. The motor is responsible for driving, the reducer prevents the screw shaft from rotating too fast and causing damage to the conveyor, and the coupling is responsible for transmitting power to the screw shaft. 2. Spiral blades Spiral blades can be mainly divided into three categories: solid spiral surface, belt spiral surface and propeller spiral surface. Solid spiral surface: simple structure, strong conveying capacity, suitable for conveying dry granular or powdery materials with good scattering properties, and is the most widely used blade type. Belt spiral surface: The spiral pitch is the same as the diameter of the spiral blade, suitable for conveying powdery and small materials. Paddle type spiral surface: It is mainly used to transport materials with high viscosity and compressibility. This kind of spiral blade has the function of stirring and mixing the materials during the transportation operation. 3. Chassis It can be divided into "U" shaped casing and round casing. The round casing is mainly used for sealing equipment to feed materials. It is recommended that the screw conveyor of U-shaped casing is best to transport materials horizontally (the casing is not sealed). 4. Spiral shaft Made of hollow steel tube, a short section of solid shaft is used at the connection between the shaft and the bearing. The solid shaft has a smaller diameter and can be inserted into a hollow steel pipe for connection. If the material is easily entangled, you can choose a shaftless conveyor.
