Bucket elevator is a common lifting material transportation equipment, which is widely used in industrial production. It is mainly composed of lifting bucket, lifting frame, transmission device, closed material receiving device, diversion device, discharge mechanism and so on. During operation, the driving mechanism drives the chain and the lifting bucket to move up and down along the upper and lower guide rails to complete the rising or falling of the material.
The structure of the bucket elevator:
1. Elevating bucket: It is the main part for lifting materials. The shape is generally cuboid or cube, and the bottom is open. The material can be taken out from the silo below and raised to the required height.
2. Elevator frame: It provides support for supporting the lifting bucket. It is generally divided into fixed type and movable type. The former is often used in large places and conventional material lifting, and the latter is suitable for occasions that require frequent replacement of materials or positions.
3. Transmission device: It is composed of a motor and a reducer, responsible for driving the lifting bucket to move up and down.
4. Closed material receiving device: provide a source of material for the lifting bucket, and prevent material from overflowing and flying.
5. Flow guide device: used to guide materials into the lifting bucket to prevent jamming.
6. Discharging mechanism: When the lifting bucket rises to the required height, the material can be discharged smoothly through the discharging mechanism.
Working principle of bucket elevator:
1. The motor drives the reducer to drive the lifting bucket to move up and down, and the material is sucked into the lifting bucket from the closed material receiving device.
2. After the lifting bucket is raised to the required height, the material is discharged through the discharge mechanism to complete the lifting and conveying operation.
3. When the lifting bucket is lowered, the transmission device performs reverse operation to lower the lifting bucket to the starting position, ready to accept the lifting of the next batch of materials.
The advantages of bucket elevator mainly include the following aspects:
1. Strong adaptability: the bucket elevator can be adapted to convey various materials, such as powder, granules, small pieces, large pieces, etc.
2. Efficient conveying: The bucket elevator adopts rotary buckets to grab, lift and discharge materials. It is easy to operate and runs smoothly, and can convey materials efficiently.
3. Space saving: The bucket elevator has a simple structure and small size, which can save space and improve the utilization rate of the factory.
4. Environmental protection and energy saving: During the conveying process of the bucket elevator, there is no need to add water and electricity, which reduces energy consumption and is environmentally friendly.
5. Low maintenance cost: The bucket elevator has simple structure, convenient operation and easy maintenance, and has low requirements for maintenance cost.
Application scenarios of bucket elevators:
Bucket elevators are widely used in material transportation in glass, cement, coal, chemical and other industries, and can meet the needs of large quantities, heights, and distances. For example, in the cement production process, the rotary bucket elevator can be used to transport materials such as sand, fly ash, cement, etc.; in the chemical industry, it can be used to transport viscous liquid or granular chemical raw materials
